Spoke to John and he said “I never believed in Sasquatch. I never gave it a second thought. I really thought the subject was ridiculous. John writes “Good afternoon Wes, I would like to share an encounter my wife and I had during the devastating floods from Hurricane Helene that hit Western North Carolina in September of last year. We encountered what was no doubt a female Sasquatch with a juvenile while attempting to get to higher ground.
The encounter happened in a very remote area that is part of a watershed here in WNC. After the encounter I have done some investigating on my own since there’s really no credible researcher in my area. I have turned up some rather interesting information.”
