A listener writes “I have had screams whoops Knocks footprints but now…I’m freaking out I just saw one tonight not 40 yards from me and the reality of this is overwhelming right and I just need to talk to someone who isn’t going to laugh at me.
I dont care about being on your show I just need to talk. I had one scream at me a few years ago I have structures all over the property I hunt and I found footprints earlier this year but tonight I saw one and it was staring straight at me from behind a Bush. It has dark gray almost black skin on its face a heavy brow ridge with a conical head hair all around its face and on its head big dark eyes I couldn’t see the white part its nose looked like some black peoples nose it was wide and its lips were down a little further than a person’s and a really wide mouth.
I left and called my kids mom because even though we aren’t together shes still like my partner in a lot of ways and I can tell she doesn’t believe me. The one biggest thing that has me so stirred up now is that I’ve literally been selling a bunch of stuff on Facebook market and I worked Saturday and today to save money for a new crossbow. My plan for tonight was to go online and figure out exactly which one I was going to buy and I was really excited.
I’m turning 48 in a couple weeks and this was going to be my present to myself and now I don’t think I can hunt anymore. This thing didn’t look like it had a soul it stared at me expressionless with those big dark sunk in eyes. I believe it was a juvenile because it didn’t seem to be a whole lot bigger than me but I saw a 20 inch footprint out there so this one isn’t the only one that habituates this area which really Isn’t that big or thick with trees because its farmland.
