Tonight’s show will be up late tonight as I am traveling, tonight is going to be an interesting show. I will be inviting Jayson to the show and Jayson has been interesting the subject of Sasquatch for many years and nothing has really ever happened until recently.
Jayson writes “We recently have had a few encounters near the (removed) I wanted to share with you.
About a month ago (on the three day weekend) we were going camping and I decided to go up on Thursday to save the spot since I had a five day weekend. My wife drove me up but the spot we wanted was already taken so found a different spot and we set the camp up together before she headed back to Vancouver for work the next day. She left at around 6:25 pm and about 15 – 20 minutes later I heard something stomp on the other side of the small creek next to camp. A few minutes later I heard another stomp that shook the ground and then two loud steps.
I was terrified and had no car so I went to the tent and stayed there all night where I could here sounds all night over the heavy rain. At 5:45 am it let out a yell that had me shaking because it sounded like a gorilla but also human like. I waited until daylight before getting out of the tent and couldn’t see or hear anything. My wife returned at 4:30 pm and I told her what had happened and started to relax a little finally. We went to the creek which is only feet away from camp but I had stayed clear from that area all day. Across the creek is a nice wide trail and laying across the trail was a broken tree that wasn’t there the day before. We both knew what that meant but went over to investigate anyway (the creek is only about 10 ft wide and ankle deep with logs you can walk across). Once over there we found a track about 18 inches as well as some smaller ones and the tree had been twisted and broken at the base.
As we looked around I thought I saw a campsite with someone standing up to look at us so we went back across the creek thinking someone had gotten back there somehow to camp. Not long after that back at the camp there was a bird that kept flying over camp squawking like crazy then we heard a oop, oop sound coming from the left side of our camp and definitely on our side of the creek. Then I thought I saw a heavy set woman with some crazy ass coat walking on the trail across the creek but then she stepped into the woods and disappeared. Right around dusk we heard a whoop whoop from a little farther down the trail. We heard what sounded like muffled voices several times that evening but never saw a camp fire, flashlight or any sign of an actual camp site. My wife got up early the next morning and heard the muffled voices again, still just right across the creek. Our son arrived that morning around 9:00 am so we walked back over and discovered there was no camp site and no place anyone had camped or been.
On Sept. 30th we went back up there to get pictures of the twisted tree and just hang out for a few hours to see if we heard anything. When we arrived at the camp we noticed it looked a little different but couldn’t figure out what was off. We walked across the creek and started getting pictures and looking around. We walked a ways up the trail checking the area out. At one point we could smell something really bad but couldn’t see anything that would cause the smell. Then we started hearing a strange tapping coming from two different directions and decided it was time to turn back while trying to act as normal as possible.
We dropped off some food we had brought and headed back to the camp site. We built a campfire and ate some chicken we had brought with us and just sat watching the fire facing the creek. While I was building the fire my wife realized what was wrong with the camp, someone had raked it with a garden rake. You could see the lines from the rake and the piles of debris all around the camp. We were basically the only ones on the mountain this night but we did pass a forest service worker on our way up. It was just weird. It was getting pretty cold so I had built the fire up pretty good for the heat.
Everything was quiet, just normal sounds you hear in the woods. At 6:50 all of the sudden there was some crashing on the other side of the creek and then quiet again but it was just out of sight (you can only see a small part of the creek when at the campfire due to the brush). I asked my wife if she heard it and as soon as she said yes the crashing came across the creek and straight for us. We were being charged by something extremely large and mad! I thought we were dead. We ran for the car which was only 10 yard away with thing still crashing and charging at us. My wife dropped the keys that were in a pocket on her chair so when I told her to start the car she couldn’t. After a minute she had to get back out to grab the keys (she had drug her chair with her to the car trying to get the keys out). After starting the car we sat there a minute and listened but didn’t hear anything. We backed the car up to the fire and got out and loaded our stuff in the car and left.
On October 8th we went back again to try to find the path of the charge and just try to figure things out. We found were it came from on the other side of the creek and the path it took toward us. There were broken limbs everywhere about 8ft up and a clear path we were able to follow that headed straight for the camp. That confirmed it for us.”
