A listener writes “So , I’m not looking to be on the show, just looking to vent, as I’m permanently scared from what was mere feet from me in my yard. To briefly setup what happened, for a few nights about 6+ yrs ago with an open window my wife and I heard strange noises, grunts etc, lasting a few hours.
I believed to be deer or a bear, but this night shortly after a rainfall I’d heard the noise, I told the wife I was going outside, I went out my front door, barefoot, sneaking around house with flashlight, (trying to sneak up on this possible bear) I rounded house, the back yard was on a slope.
I turned on flashlight and saw a monster, ugliest thing I’ve ever seen all black shark eyes, holding a deer over it’s shoulder, we stared at each other for what seemed to be 2 hours (like 10 seconds) I dropped the light ran back to the front door, vomited over adrenaline, I described as the feeling of being in a car crash, long story short, I sold my dream house in 3 months, moved closer to civilization, the nightmares continue to this day.”
