A listener writes “Hi Wes, You seem interested in drones, after listening to your latest episode. I live in Nj. The drones are out of control. For the second time in two weeks, a drone’s light has shone into my bedroom and lit up the whole room.
It happens around 3:00 or 4:00 am. I have lived in this Warren Nj home for two years. This has never happened with the various planes and helicopters that frequently pass overhead as Newark Airport and Trump National isn’t far away from my home.
I am fortunate to have a second home in Sussex County Nj. My cabin is on Highland Lakes. I hosted a Christmas Party on Friday, with friends, we witnessed 4 drones over the lake.
I have had them fly directly over my car twice. They have a wing span of about 8 to 10 feet. One green light on one wing, red on the other. The undercarriage looks like it had a molded compartment that jutted out in a circle. Similar to a kids toy where it pops out and you put batteries in.
The first drone that lit up my bedroom what I saw when I got to my window looked like it had a tow rope. At the end of the tow rope, there was what looked a box with 4 rows of round lights across and up and down. I have only seen that once.
I feel like our government is behind this, I feel like we are being gas-lighted. The latest official information is we are all misidentifying planes and manned drones. Nope!
