I’m from Sour Lake, Texas and I have had an encounter across from my house that I renting. So, my encounter happened one night in the winter of 2019. One night I had to go to my truck to get something that i forgot, I think it was my phone I cant remember.
As I was walking to the truck I noticed a light in the woods about 200-250 yards from my driveway. Anyway I saw a light moving in the trees about 20 to 25 feet above the ground almost to the tops of the pines and it floated in and out of those trees. And I realized that it was dead quite and nothing was making a sound and I mean nothing. So I started thinking it was maybe a Helicopter because we usually have military Helicoptes flying over our area all the time. Any I didn’t even hear the sound that a Helicopter make I heard no sound what so ever from this light. Then I thought it might of been a spot light but the motion of this light was a fluid level motion that just floated across the trees. And this light was a bright whitish blue light in color and you could tell that it was in the woods instead of behind it because you could see it going in front of and behind the trees. So I watched this light for what seemed like hours but it was only for 3-4 minutes and as I finally saw it disappear I came to my senses and finished getting whatever I was getting out of my truck and I turned around and before I could start walking back to my house I heard a loud knock like a MLB superstar just smashed a home runhit inside and empty stadium. I mean this sound was loud, so I shined my million candle watt light in the direction of where I heard this noise and I was scanning the tree line and didn’t see anything until I got to where I realized the light I just saw disappeared.
When I got to that spot I saw sunshine where the woods stop and the open field begins right behind this 1 acre pond we have on the property I couldnt make any features out but it looked like it was really tall. I couldn’t even imagine how tall this figure was but behind the pond there is at lest a 4-5 foot bank that leads off this pond and into the woods where it levels off and the sunshine of this creature had to of been 6 feet above the pond. The sunshine was a light orange to dark yellow if that makes any sense. Even with my light at this thing I could not see any color of hair or fur it had on but it looked dark, darker than the surrounding woods around it. It really freaked me out and with in seconds of me seeing that creature it like blinked its eyes and was gone. I did not hear any other sounds other than that one knock it made. So I went back into the house and told my wife and kids what I just witnessed and my youngest 2 kids wanted to go out side and see what I saw because they are fascinated with the thought of sasquatch as I am but my wife was like ok that’s cool and blew it off. I really haven’t told anyone yet other than them on that night. You Wes are the only other person I have mentioned my encounter too sense that night.”
