WLOS News 13 writes “A group of local investigators believes one of the world’s most elusive creatures may be living right here in the mountains. The Unexplained Investigators is a group of paranormal investigators based in Hickory. They are lead by Jeffery Porter, a former police detective.
Porter says he uses the scientific method to investigate what others cannot. Porter says his goal isn’t to prove or disprove Big Foot exists. He presents the evidence and lets people decide for themselves.
The Unexplained Investigators actively recruits new volunteers. They do screen prospective members closely and require them to go through an extensive training process.”
