“Hello Wes, I had an encounter while hunting about 4 years ago. I’ll give you the short version for now to save my fingers and your eyes. I was sitting in the timber and I was hearing something that sounded like someone yelling “hey” like when you are trying to get someone’s attention from far away but it was long and drawn out and the pitch changed throughout it. I thought it was my dads friend mike trying to get my attention so I started walking to where he was sitting. While I was walking through the timber I kept hearing what sounded like someone was picking up huge logs and throwing them.
I mean it honestly sounded like a tree was falling it shook the ground under me. I walked up I heard a couple more vocalizations that were really deep I can’t really type what it sounded like but when I got to where mike was supposed to be but he wasn’t there at this point I wasn’t hearing anything, not a bird a squirrel or anything.
Then out of the corner of my eye I saw something huge and black jump from a tree across the creek. When I saw it land I looked over and it was standing facing away from me, kind of sniffing the air. It stood there for what seemed like an hour when really it was only a couple of seconds. He or she took 4 steps and disappeared behind some evergreen trees. From what I saw it was between 6 1/2 feet to 7 feet tall.
It’s arms were really long almost down to its knees. It almost looked like it didn’t have a neck the muscles on this thing were so huge. The arms were big but not gigantic I mean he was no young Arnold Schwarzenegger but he was strong. Now his legs were pretty big I honestly compare them to a softball player. I’ve met a lot of girls that were softball players that have really muscular thighs probably not the best comparison. What I saw of his hands they were big. It honestly looked like it could pick me up by my head with one hand. I never seen its face. I didn’t feel like it was going to hurt me I just felt like it didn’t want me there.
That’s pretty much the short version with all the description but that’s the meat and potatoes of my encounter. I’m not sure if my encounter is really something you are looking for but I just really wanted to tell someone I’ve only told my wife the whole story and I feel like even she doesn’t believe me.
