Hi Wes, I started listening to your show on you tube after I too had a sighting. My husband and I just moved to Florida last fall. We live near Tampa. We also have a wildlife preserve near our home.
My husband and I were traveling on highway 301 on our way back home from the grocery store. It was a couple days before Thanksgiving 2018. It was a hot day around 90 degrees. I saw a sign that said Dead River. I thought I want to see what a dead river looks like. It was 4pm broad daylight sunny day.
So I looked out my truck window to my right and I never will ever forget what I saw! I saw something white walking on two bare feet across the steam. It was very hairy and my first thought was a polar bear but then it didn’t have a snout. Then I thought a man in a white furry suit but then I thought what would a furry man that is barefoot be crossing a stream down where rattle snakes and alligators could be and on such a hot day.
I turned to my husband and said I just saw an animal because I just couldn’t place what I just saw. I wanted him to turn around but since it was rush hour the traffic was thick and I knew he wouldn’t want to. We drove to our home, not far from where I saw it, and we both smelled something rotten and dead.
I didn’t say much the rest of the day as I had to process what I saw. It took me a couple days before I could talk about what I saw. I didn’t believe in Bigfoot before this and would make fun of my husband when he’d watch Bigfoot videos. He wishes he would have seen it too. It was a quick glance for me but it changed my whole perspective on believing. There are many other sightings of Bigfoot in Florida but I’m confused on why it was white. Most sightings here are of a dark brown sasquash. I told a few people what I saw but then I caught them rolling their eyes at me. My family and husband believe me as I am 65 and they know me better then people do here. Have you ever heard of a white one in Florida?”
