A listener from Montana writes “What we saw cross the road in front of us I will never forget. It was so frightening I never drove that road again after dark. And I wouldn’t drive it in the daytime alone. Wide open space for miles and miles.
It was on all fours, at first glance I thought it a naked man. Crawling across that hwy. But the size of it dismissed that thought immediately. Its HAND was on the white line on the south side of the 2 lane hwy. while its back FOOT was still in the white line on the north side of the hwy. As we got closer about 100 to 150 feet it turned its head like it was on a swivel and looked directly at us in full view of headlights. I saw a human like face. And then saw why I thought it was a naked body the hair color was the color of palomino, mountain lion or a pomeranian.
My brain could compute a face on a mountain lion. And this thing was huge to big to be a man to big to be a lion. When I saw face. My huntress mind took over and I scanned the entire form as fast as I could. Arms, legs, feet and hands.
There was not a tail. It seemed like it was completely still while looking at us. One thing happened that shook me to my core to the point I convinced myself I did not see. Not sure why but it showed its teeth like the Cheshire cat. I was so freaked out at what I was looking at. Then in one fluid motion it was gone from the light cast by the headlights. It was the creepiest thing I could ever imagine seeing.
A couple of weeks after that thing crossed the road. I was with my kids heading to Redlodge, MT. About a mile before the place that thing crossed the road. Were 5 or 6 blacked out suvs with government plates.
My mind jokingly went to men in black. Maybe it was some government experiment gone wrong and escaped.. Or an alien. (The only reference my mind could grab on to was the Dog in the movie Invasion of the Body Snatchesrs movie.)
I knew to my depth I never wanted to see it again. My friend and I were in shock we didn’t utter a word until we saw the lights of town. We both saw the same thing. Not human not any animal we knew of.
She would never speak of again after that night. When I got home I told my children what I had seen. It was a traumatic thing to look at something alive and moving that i had no knowledge of being in an environment it can’t possibly exist in or i would have known about it.
I couldn’t sleep for a long time until I was able to forget about it happening.”
