The story of the Great White Shark who was left behind in this Australian aquarium. We take a look at Rosie the Great White Shark. Recently news has featured one shark in particular. Her name is Rosie and she is a great white shark that’s been left in an abandoned wildlife park.
Rosie has been left in her tank since 2012 and she isn’t doing well. Her story first starts in 1998 when she was captured in fishing nets close to South Australia. It’s thought this was a mistake but the damage had already been done. After this her body was transferred to the wildlife park where she would be displayed. However after the park close nothing was done to try and save her, she was left to rot in her exhibit.
A video was uploaded to YouTube around a month ago that featured this shark. It gained millions of views and people started to express there concern about the shark being left where it was.
