A listener writes “I came across your podcast and thought you might find my story of interest. I’m an avid hiker and outdoorsman in Colorado for many years and in my many hours of time in the backcountry, I’ve never had anything happen except for once.
Ten years ago, my wife and I had something happen to us in the Wet Mountains of Colorado that scared us, and was consistent with the many stories you hear about Bigfoot. Interestingly, I found out after the fact that it was the same area where a father and son saw one off the road that was documented on the BFRO. That really made the whole experience that much more interesting.
I kept quiet about it for the longest time other than me and Sarah (my wife) reminiscing on it. I finally got the confidence to document the story on my You Tube channel where I revisited the site and recounted the experience here:
My channel is not a Bigfoot channel, but the story fit in overall with what I like to do for videos. I take it seriously so I hope you get a chance to check it out and hear my story. The video is a bit dramatic in music and storytelling but the story is true. I dig what you are doing and would love the opportunity to come on if you’d ever like to hear about it in detail.
I need to see the big fella to truly accept it and that hasn’t happened yet, maybe never will. But this was an extremely significant encounter in my life and I’m grateful for it.
