LordCryptid says “In October of 2016 the BFRO visited the Upper Peninsula of MI.
As I was unpacking my gear I was picked up by Caroline, Carter and Shawn and they drove me to an area where they had found interesting stick structures. I used a camera to document the cool and possibly intelligently made, structures. While separated from the group I heard some wood knocks from the other side of the river. I rushed back (obviously excited and a bit out of breath) and asked if they had heard them. While my primary recorder did not pick them up well because I was moving my secondary recorder placed 1/4 mile away did pick up 6 total knocks.
I had to amplify them but the timing is accurate and it all happened at 3:47 pm. I can’t say what made the cool structures or if they were all put in a straight line by nature or a kid nor can I state what made the knocking sounds. But it was interesting and something, at least, did make a weird sounding series of knocks. At least you can enjoy the Fall leaves. Thanks for watching.”
