Strange images captured on trail cam

A listener sent this to me and I am trying to get more information on these images. I am not sure what this listener captured but it is strange.

This kind of stuff freaks me out more than BF. So un-nerving ! The 2nd picture does look a little like those ghost-zombie Halloween creatures you see a lot these days. They have blinking LED lights in the heads, and cut up cloth robe type things. Add that with a little blur effect, B&W, mess with the focus and aperture and I bet you could get close to this. I still find these trail camera photos creepy, these ones too, even if they aren’t real.

Wes between the “Strange figure caught on tape” and now this you have posted 2 of the CREEPIEST things I think I have ever seen. These look like Fog with EYEs. At first I thought maybe somehow the ones in the air might be owls and the thing on the ground a raccoon but neither option really makes sense……WOW

That is strange. Like Joyce I tried to fit known creatures into those spaces but why are they so undefined except for the eyes? Not something I want to see in person in the woods at night!

could they be squatch up in the tree looking at the camera as we know there eyes reflect, also one in the last pic crawling on its belly towards the camera as we know they do this?

I have a trail cam and check it every morning. I have seen where an animal must have been moving fast and is blurry but, it doesn’t look like this.
This is way weirder and I would not want to see that in my yard!

Thanks for sharing Wes. I can only imagine the kind of things you see all the time. I don’t blame you a bit for not talking about some things.

Good lord yesterday’s post showing the gray hominoid in someone’s backyard coupled with these pics posted today is maxing out my creep meter to alarming levels!!!

Wish there we’re day pics of same areas to help determine what we are looking at first 2pics look like scarecrows with glowing eyes and last pic looks like racoon on the ground but hard to say

Where’d the tree come from in the last picture? Were those two ‘wraiths’ somethings in the earlier pictures (squirrels, opossums, raccoons?) obscuring the tree?

Dee-LISH-ously creepy! Feels like the end of October, Samhain, Halloween, Feast of All Souls…

I would say wraith, because that’s the most fun. but, seriously, what are those foggy, misty looking forms? Could it be possible that the eyes are giving off/reflecting so much light that they are meeting humidity in the air or something?

    Nah–wraiths!

The bushes at the front of the pictures are all the same. It appears the objects are blocking the tree out of view in the first 3. Definitely 2 sets of eyes. Not a fully physical entity. Creepy

Strange…I take over 10k trail cam pics a year and that ain’t no coon or fox. Could be a frog and looks like dew on the lens. My house must look like a red star track beam to a Sasquatch. I got came on my porch and all around the house. I have no clue what that is.

Possibly a pair of playful raccoons. Maybe. Have them around my neighborhood. Step out on my porch late at night, and they are darting around every which way if you shine a flash light on them. The eyes on the video kind of look similar. Not 100% similar but pretty close.

racoons on a tree in first pic you can see it climbing tree and you see its tail and hind end its looking up the tree thats why you only see partial ete shine. third pic you can see its whole face ears and nose. deffinetly racoons. ive been hunting for over 20 years and spent alot of time in the outdoors. theres nothing in these pics strange just racoons.

  14. Farrell Stormcrow

Agreed, its a couple animals, and Sam T is probably right, they look like raccoons. The last picture is taken from a slightly different angle, 4 days later, so probably camera slipped slightly when it was being checked. Notice the tree on the left in the bottom picture, gives you an idea of where the EYES were on the other pictures. Not sure what the eerie effects are, it certainly looks ominous at first, but its nothing supernatural at all. Interesting, none the less!!

Its racoons.. having cams of my own.. I have seen this more than once….Momma coon always puts the young in the tree while she surveys on the ground for safety.. until she barks at them telling them its safe to come down…

It’s one, maybe two, bats zipping through the air toward the camera. The eyes and wingspan give it away to me. Add the blurring due to speed and you get creepy! Great pics.
