SC EP:326 The Quantum Bigfoot

Ron Morehead will be coming on the show to discuss his new book “The Quantum Bigfoot.” He will also be sharing some of the stranger things that happen to him while he recorded the Sierra Sounds.

Check out Ron’s new book here.

Ron Morehead is an ‘adventurist’; a positive ‘someone’ who loves life, but often lives it on the edge. As a SCUBA diver, he swam with the hammerhead sharks, has been filmed in Mexico’s Pacific Ocean riding the backs of giant manta rays, and been a safety diver for the filming of Right whales in Patagonia.

As a private pilot, Ron has flown his own aircraft from the Alaskan bush to the Costa Rican jungle. Besides travelling to the ancient Mayan civilizations in the Yucatan, he has also flown into a remote jungle area of Chiapas (Southern Mexico) on an anonymous Mayan discovery expedition. What he saw was thought to be one of the last remaining strong-holds of the Mayan people. He has ventured into Western Nepal’s Suklaphanta Wildlife Reserve to help assess the tiger population, explored the jungles of Bardiya on elephants, and been in the wilderness of Siberia looking for evidence of the Russian Yeti. He has made two trips in South America exploring the enigmatic structures and the non-human remains of the pre-Inca people.

Over the years Ron has been interviewed by several radio programs and has been televised by the BBC and other learning channels. He was a guest speaker at the Darwin Museum in Moscow (Russia) and for years he has given presentations at symposiums and conferences about his Bigfoot/Sasquatch experiences. He has openly shared his knowledge and accounts with others. His book, “Voices in the Wilderness,” chronicles his 40 years of researching the enigma. Besides his book, he has produced two CDs with actual Bigfoot vocalizations, focusing on the interaction he and others had with these forest giants.

As a successful businessman, and a father of four, his entrepreneurialism has afforded him the time and means to do many things. He doesn’t consider himself an active participant in a man-made religion, but is deeply spiritual. Besides being a gifted entertainer-musician, his incredible life as a speaker has taken him worldwide.

Unlike most of our culture, Ron has learned to live with nature on its terms and not attempt to conquer it. His story about Bigfoot/Sasquatch is a chronicle that has drawn much attention over the last 40-years. It’s a true story and he says that it’s been the biggest adventure of his lifetime.

I need to check on the new episodes more often so I can BE FIRST!!!!! HUHHHH But anyways I glad I have this episode to listen to as I take my usual drive into the central Nevada desert with no radio stations. Thanx Wes

Grow up little Marty…Did you ask Mommy’s permission to take the car..”The first will be last and the last will be first.”..Great episode..

That was so refreshing to hear Ron’s point of view and validates a lot of my wilderness experiences! I look forward to the conference in September There’s so much more to this subject and it’s why I think so many of us can’t leave it alone. I’ve always wanted to know the “truth” of what are we here for

    • m99

Haha …Doug, Everytime we hear that recording, I’m sorry, but that is what I think the Big Guys says! We agreed a long time ago it sure could be that because over the decades, that’s the main expression that’s said, and these things surely watch people around a campfires, etc. Been thinking it, never said it! Thanks Doug.

    • Mr. M

Yes he did, the first time that I nociced it. I thought why did he say that phrase? After reflecting a bid I came to the conclusion that is the sentence the hear most offen when someone sights them. Do you agree?

They got a hold of a Goodfellas DVD….. Well……interesting point of view. This world/universe is weirder than we can imagine and I have huge respect for Ron and his theories but until I have a “woo” experience w them of my own I’m still firmly in the damn dirty (smart) ape camp!? Good show…interesting to hear all perspectives on this topic. One day I hope the truth, whatever that may be, is revealed.

  4. Gene P

    Very inner resting show Wes.
I always thought because the Sasquatch can be found on every continent they have not been part of evolution.
Some other species, not from our planet have created the Sasquatch from man and ape and eventually the Sasquatch will inherit the planet as the next dominate species to have this planet for themselves. It makes sense to me because look at what the homo sapiens are doing to this planet. Whereas the Sasquatch will not destroy the earth. They will live in harmony with nature. Mankind will be removed from this planet.
I’ll bet this planet is a very unique in this universe and other species don’t want to see it ruined by an inconsiderate race.
Or their just a big ol dum ape.

One of the best episodes Wes, i only hope people can take in what Ron is saying, we have been lied to about everything we think to be true, humility is key to recognize the bill of goods we have been sold! 🙂

  6. Scott R

I’ve got a CD from the man himself, on one of his many trips to Reno he stopped by my place of employment and hooked a couple of us up… very approachable and kind.

    Wes and Ron,
Excellent show tonight! Thank you so much. I believe Ron is definately on the right track and Wes, I thank you for having Ron on and going the direction you did. Im sure there are a lot more of us that appreciate the shows direction tonight than you might think.
    Great job Wes.

Great show science is about the pursuit of knowledge, corny but true, it would be great if you could get the author of ( them and us) on the show I reckon the theory’s in discust may meet at some point or be aleast of some value. Next time Woody, and as I like to say. P£IC£$ ‘N’ P€IC€$…………………

    • Seamus J. C

Yeah, have fun with string theory, Jon. Actually, I think I had heard that it had been debunked? You might want to look that up; I can live without knowing, myself, at least until I have more time (I should be sleeping right now, for instance).

I have this niggling feeling that quantum theory can be used to explain almost anything out of the ordinary–if regular, mechanical physics can’t explain it, then it must be quantum. It seems to me there’s a flaw in that logic–the “must” part. It MIGHT be quantum, or physics we haven’t proven yet, or something else. Quantum physics has taken the place of what we used to call magic, which is just a little bit suspicious, isn’t it? That quantum physics might explain a certain thing does not mean that it actually does explain it.

Maybe sasquatch really are pulling off weird shit, and maybe people are just seeing weird, tripping on something somehow. If infrasound is disruptive on a cellular level, then maybe they are disrupting our senses and our mind, creating hallucinations of a sort.

I still think the very idea of nephilim as something that literally exists in our world in the form of giants is ridiculous. There. I said it. I can’t prove (or disprove) that, but I believe I am right, anyway. Ha!

      • EDWARD D

Agreed,,,the nephilim bullshit is utterly ridiculous! It cheapens us as a community in search of the truth about these animals and makes us look like bunch of fools..as does all that “pre flood” nonsense!

In my area that I go to and believe that BF’s are traveling through from all the things I’ve seen and heard, I experienced with food to try to get a BF or even an animal on camera. Over a full year’s time, I set out food and my game cam 6 different times – I never, ever got on camera what took the food. My camera’s batteries were always new and I had extra batteries on it as well. The camera would get me putting it up and taking it down but never, ever get what took the food. It got opossums, a raccoon, deer, bugs, a storm, but not what got the food. I would put out 2 peanut butter sandwiches on a shelf nailed to a tree five foot up from the ground. I wrapped the sandwiches in a kitchen towel and put an apple or banana on top of the towel with the sandwiches inside of it. I also put a recorder in a plastic bag tied to a tree near by. I always got noise of someone or something walking up to it cause you can hear the leaves crunch and sticks cracking/breaking so that was crazy wild! One time I did get on recording a sound of something; hard to explain what it sounds like. Kind of sounds like one of Ron’s chatter and then my recorder went dead. The batteries were still working when I took it down to listen to it. It shouldn’t have went off. It was like someone turned it off. That was really crazy too! I know there is something in those woods, just not sure what. It’s just crazy that I’m hearing a lot now of camera’s batteries going dead or just not capturing a BF on it. It’s happened to me and I can’t explain it.

As always, Wes you out did yourself again on a great show! Keep on Bigfootin the show cause you so rock the Bigfoot world and for that, I thank you kindly! Thank you Ron for coming on the show. I love to hear how different people feel and believe about the same subject. I know I learn a lot from everyone’s different belief’s.

    • Gene P

So it looks like we need some kind of shielding for the batteries. It’s probably not a problem with the inferred light after all.
I have heard of some people who are ultra sensitive to radio waves and electrical fields. What if the squatch are sensitive to the bundle of batteries in the trail cams? Or it could be the other way around. The batteries are sensitive to the electromagnetic field of the squatch.
Either way some kind of shielding is needed.

  10. Stephanie G

I haven’t listened to it yet. I’m kind of in that “Christmas Eve” mood looking at a big present under the tree. Just want to savor the possibilities awhile longer.

  11. Gale R

What a great interview. I could listen to Ron Morehead all day. I have always thought vibrations and interdimensional travel had a lot to do with this.

  12. Robert C

Thank you Wes and Ron for such a great show! Les Stroud had the exact same things go wrong with his cameras. Food would magically disappear with strange camera malfunctions. I am also very spiritual in my beliefs . So I found Rons views very interesting .. I may have to buy his book. I have heard that some native americans believe these creatures have one foot in this world and the other in the spiritual one. This show seemed to shed some light on that theory. Thank you both.. Great show!

  13. bryan f

I enjoyed the quiz show but it was much much too long. I think asking 10 questions would be alot more sustainable instead of spending half an hour on it.

  14. Pat T

Wes, how’s your mom?, she hasn’t posted in awhile. Hope she’s fine. Thanks for bringing Ron in, love his takes on the subject, really makes you think. Thanks again for your product, well worth it!

  15. EDWARD D

unsubstantiated “woo” …very disappointing….and….science says that we share a common ancestor with apes going back about 7 million years ago…it doesn’t say that we COME from apes….a bit more basic understanding of science is needed before trying to debunk basic, well understood scientific theories .

  16. Maynard w

I’m an Occam’s Razor guy. But I have been looking at extra canonical texts and quantum mechanics as an interest since the late 1980’s. This is very logical. Damn it. I want my ‘damn dirty ape’ theory back.

Hearing Ron bring up the question of why some have a sagittal crest and some do not, I thought I’d relate something I learned about a month ago. I was at the San Diego zoo, watching the gorillas. There was a family with three brothers. Two of the brothers had a prominent saggital crest and one had none at all–his head was round as a coconut. I asked the keeper, who was standing next to me, if that was a normal thing, to have no saggital crest. She said, “He looks just like his mother.” So, it looks like a saggital crest is a variable genetic trait, not only among species but among offspring, in gorillas. So why not in Sasquatch?

Going to totally steal a line from Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’ here.. “There are more things in Heaven and Earth Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.” ?
Aren’t we more than just the sum of parts? You can’t prove that love exists, yet we do love…❤️ Pretty interesting!!!
I think a lot of the things we think of as mystical or odd, or unusual in our ‘modern’ lives, are actually quite natural if we strip away all of the distractions. ?⌚️???
Do we know everything because we are apes with car keys, or can operate computers? ? Yes, we are special, but so too are other things.???????
    Totally fascinating, Wes and Ron!!!!

  19. Richard W

Hey Wes, this is Jill, Rick’s wife posting this comment. We really enjoyed tonight’s show, absolutely fascinating! Keep up the great job having such interesting guests and reports of encounters from around the globe.

    FEEDBACK on the GAME
You asked for feedback from the members about the game you hosted with your brother Woody as one of the contestants.
We love this idea, it makes it fun to start a show with such an event, however we found a couple of things that we did not enjoy so much about the game.
    01) The game went on for too long. Maybe cut down on the number of questions.
    02) We found most of the questions very difficult to come up with the answer.
Perhaps if the questions were a bit easier, the game would run for a shorter length of time keeping the same number of questions as the May 21st game.

I have NEVER considered myself one of the brightest bulbs in the box. Quite the opposite. I am barely more intelligent than a box of mud, but, this episode REALLY challenged my intellect. It took me four tries to get my mind wrapped around some of these theories. Everybody I know thinks we are dealing with a type of ape,(me included) but, Mr. Morehead REALLY has me scratching my head. WHAT NEXT?

When listening to this, I know exactly what he is talking about when he speaks of Vibrational frequency because I had an OBE, and when I did, I looked down & saw my “sou”l as round, brown an white molecules, about the size of a golf ball, vibrating rapidly back and forth; it was the shape of my body, i.e., arms, torso, etc. Months later, I read an article in a magazine about Dr. Elizabeth Kubler-Ross, MD, who wrote the definitive book on Death & Dying (6 stages of grief). She told of the night that a former patient of hers, who had promised to return after her death (from a terminal illness) and show whether there was life after death, kept her promise and returned after her death to thank Dr. Ross for helping her come to terms with her illness & death. Then Dr. Ross relieved every moment before death and the actual passing of each & every one of her former patients (around 1,000). After that, Dr. Ross was in the company of two spirit guides. Dr. Ross was ridiculed after this interview & article, but I believed her because Dr. Ross described her “soul” as being in the shape of her body but comprised of small brown & white molecules, vibrating rapidly back & forth.
