SC Shorts: She Was Feeding The Creatures Live Animals

This is from episode 584 She Was Feeding The Creatures Live Animals. Mike writes “I was born and raised in Natchez Mississippi and I had two encounters with what I know understand to be a sasquatch.

One encounter happened when I was about 7 years old and another time when I was maybe 20 or 21. As a young boy, I watched a neighbor give a cat and a raccoon to one of the giant creatures and there was a second one that crawled from behind her house like a giant spider and it gave me nightmares for quite some time. Another encounter happened when a friend and I were driving and we witnessed what looked like King Kong chasing a doe and a buck across the highway on a cold winter night we were heading to Fayette Mississippi from Natchez.”

The eyewitness describes seeing the creature on all fours and moving like a spider.

I wonder how PETA would proceed on that one ?
They can be ridiculous going over board protecting ieven insects .
They sent reps to attempt to stop an annual fraternity gathering at my university called “ mouse to the moon party “ the Phi Sigs would send a live Mouse in a estees rocket up and the parachuted dead or alive mouse would return I guess yippie cheap thrills .
My point though is utilizing a live raccoon and or cat woujd probably cause PETA to go Ape Shit no pun .
Hey Sasquatch has to eat too .
Vegan Sasquatches are probably very rare .

I don’t know about PETA, but I felt hurt to the heart when I first heard this episode. Those could have been someone’s pets! Ew. Feeding frickin monsters!

Just love this project (of presenting these short takes) you’re doing Wes. This was one of my favorite episodes. I loved this witness. He was definitely traumatized by seeing this and it probably affected his freedom out there from then on. I’m sure surprised he hadn’t heard of it before from his mother.

I have a very close friend who feeds feral cats and so does her son. She had over thirty cats at one time. She had severe health issues and had to go into a nursing home just as covid started. She said it has been hard, like they’re in prison. Her son goes and feeds her cats, but I haven’t talked about it to him.

I stayed there for a few nights before they moved out there (it’s a working cattle ranch with several homes on it). No one lived out there accept cows at that time. I swear I felt like something was watching me and weird stuff started happening. I left after a day or two. I often have wondered if the Sasquatch go and catch those cats to eat.

One time my friend came and spent the weekend with me. The Ranch was about 150 miles from my house in Beaumont. Anyway, she called me when she got home and said there was about 20 raccoons on her porch! That really scared me. She used to throw cat food out there, but the raccoons started taking over. Anyway, I get to thinking about that place when I hear this kind of stuff on your shows.
Anyway friend, Great Job! Thanks Wes.

Monsters M99? Do you put any blame on the owner feeding them? Look at story on Grand Tetons with women feeding deer, elk, moose and then grizzlies-DNR even found dried bear poop in her house that she had baked in oven. Who is the monster?

Well okay then, I see the point. However, from a child’s perspective, that’s what he saw. I should have qualified it better. Thanks for the link. I’ll check it out.

@Jay T ~ That was a very good article. I was thinking of a show I saw a few years ago but couldn’t remember the name of it. Maybe you saw it too. It was about an older woman who lived alone in a nice two story house with a deck on the house, I think it went to the second story. She’d come out with things to feed multiple bears, Someone complained and the law enforcement people went out there and confronted her about it, which she also denied, and said she was feeding other animals. Well, one day she went out there and the bears were on her deck, which she was reported to have forbid. One bears took a swipe and others joined. She was found deceased on the deck and had been fed on by her bears.

Some People want the Disney World connection with wild animals and not how works in wild. It’s wrong in Wyoming private areas to allow such feeding of wild animals. As far as bigfoot, good lesson with the Carter family in Tennessee. The father had fed and habituated with creatures for a generation. When he goes to the nursury home, bigfoot then assault the house and don’t understand why no more government handouts.

That is a valid point. Once we looked at some land in the mountains and the lady giving us the tour looked at us and said, “You Don’t Feed the Animals do you?” and we replied, no not anymore. There seemed to be a silent knowing between the three of us. You know those animals don’t really need the feed. It’s just what people do to make themselves feel better.

@Jay T ~ re: good lesson with the Carter family in Tennessee, do you have a reference for that? I couldn’t find anything online. That may be because it was years ago. I came to SC as a curious person who was looking for real BF sourcing. I found it. I was on the periphery and barely caught the Janice Carter thing. Same family?
