SC EP:1293 Upon Arrival, It Was Deceased

Tonight, I’ll be speaking with Jared, a guest from California whose first encounter with one of these creatures happened more than 30 years ago. Although the experience stayed with him for decades, he never expected it to become the beginning of something much bigger.

After serving in the military, Jared leased a remote cabin in the middle of nowhere. What started as a quiet place to live quickly turned into something very different, as he began having repeated interactions with these creatures. Tonight, he shares what happened during the four years he lived there and the experiences that ultimately convinced him he wasn’t alone.

After the Paradise Fire destroyed his cabin, Jared became a truck driver. Then, in 2021, everything changed again when he struck and killed what he believes was a Sasquatch.

Jared describes what he saw, the damage the impact caused to his truck, and what happened in the aftermath.

If he seasoned mincemeat with onions, garlic and pepper he didn’t use mincemeat. Mincemeat doesn’t come in packages it’s in jars.

Am I saying he’s lying? I’m saying pay attention to the details…

I can always tell a guest is spinning a BS sasquatch story because they incorporate almost ALL of the common sasquatch tropes into their story. Also, their story has no element that sets it apart. That’s a clue that the story is BS… it lacks genuineness and has very plain vanilla descriptions. None of my claim takes away from your service to our great country and for that I’d like to thank you.

I’m not making any judgements, but I was in law enforcement for 25 years in North Idaho. I was kinda known as a Bigfoot enthusiast. I have never heard a peep about any cover ups, crashes or other hairy man activity. Couple of guys had sightings and they were mocked for years. In fact, before I retired my newly elected Sheriff looked at me during a meeting and told me Sasquatch doesn’t exist (I never brought up the subject). He was a California transplant and is still the sheriff today. So, in my experience, there was no cover ups or acknowledgement from county officials about Sasquatch. I kinda wish there was and I could be a whistle blower lol!

    Thanks Germer

You had me at…..”So I put the van in gear, my ass in the seat, and because the door wasn’t closed yet the dome light stayed on, so my wife started laughing because she could see i pissed on the steering wheel” 😂 I hit pause and immediately made 🍿 Please leave the BS at the rodeo!!

That’s exactly what I do when headed to visit family, I’ll talk to them the entire trip to their house. When I hit a BF the cops take my phone too and delete all my pictures WHILE my family is on the phone.
    That’s incredible dawg!

why did he give him a platform for this Bigfoot tale. my man has incredible things happen to him ALL the time. This is the episode I waited for haha. I could have read or wrote better fiction this guy. I’ll say it he on some BS!

makes no sense he wouldn’t have saved the pics or texted them to someone else before handing his phone over to the cops. and I never question why someone didn’t “take pictures” but this thing was dead in front of you and you leave with no pictures? this is very very hard to believe. Claire’s story on the beach in CA is more believable than this. you’re talking about someone who already believed, who had already had an encounter, and knew what it was when it happened. once in a lifetime opp and it doesn’t sound like he even tried to make sure a photo survived. just yeah they took it, shrug. bogus

late to the party but listening and enjoying, dont know yet what I think have not heard the whole show. It might be an example of a beaverdogbearmonkeyman acting like a Sasquatch.

Who brings a six month old on a camping trip? I turned this episode off right from the beginning. I have listened to most episodes and can usually tell when an encounter does not ring true. You still have the best podcast however.

Thanks for the great show….I don’t often read the comments but wow. I must be an eternal
optimist or I work too much and don’t have time to pick apart the show. Love the music.

Hey Wes. I’ve been a member for a long time. I think you need to do a better job of of vetting these things. I didn’t believe anything this guy said. I think you didn’t either, but you don’t challenge anything. He’s been interacting with “creatures” for years at his property and no pictures, sound, video, anything… This whole thing is so fake. Please filter that crap out. It’s been a long time since I’ve heard anything on your show where I thought it might be a legitimate account.

I have heard another interview that the person that was being interviewed said he was told Sasquatch are here for later….later after? After humankind is extinguished.. That boggles my mind. Are we close to the Ascension?

Richard F..our famlies took both my cousin Lori snd I camping to the UP the summer after we both were born, me in March and Lori in May..of course they had campers but yes people take babies camping FYI

Jared got the shot put record wrong. It is not 72 yards, it is currently 77.3 feet. Let that sink in on his estimate of throwing on 300 feet. Indeed Linda P some people take the very young camping. I know we did with my young son back around 2003. I do not know what to think of this habituation and then full on killing one with a semi. And I have never heard so many way above 10 feet in height Bigfoots, and then 15 feet. I think the tallest I have heard is around 11 feet, but some state 12 feet. I don’t know. I sure would like to listen to part 2.

I’ve been listening for a couple of years and then became a member. Honestly, I turned this off. I later went back and finished listening. I wish I wouldn’t have. There were so many holes in this guy’s story and I didn’t believe him at all.

  16. Phil S

I don’t believe him. What ever happened to his baby. He never mentions his baby again. Where was the baby when he and his wife were walking into the mountain lion , alone in the cabin? At that point the kid wasn’t old enough to be himself. Also I would make sure I took videos or pictures. Never stop trying to record them. And he never texted a picture of the dead Bigfoot to his sister that he said he was on the phone with the whole time, that’s the first thing I would have done.

The 6-7’ Sasquatch could have had previous encounters with this lion or other lions and simply did not like lions. Nothing says to me that the Sasquatch wasn’t fighting on your behalf. Your wishing and hoping that’s the case.
