Returning Guest: Strange lights over Oregon (Update)

I will be welcoming back our very own Pam Purple Rose to the show. She was on the show prior discussing a dogman encounter she had many years ago.

She was recently returning home and talks about seeing strange orb like lights in the sky.

We have talked about these lights in the past. Few people have come forward to say they have seen these strange balls of light while they are out looking for Sasquatch. I found this encounter fascinating and asked her to come on and tell us about these lights she saw.

Pam talks about seeing three lights in the beginning and than other lights broke off of those lights and became many lights and they flew around. Below is the video that was taken that night. I have it set to loop x2.

    Hey guys, the Wes my hubby is talking to is his good friend but not “our” Wes, haha. The strange light that seems square may be a reflection off something….I don’t recall seeing it when I videoed the lights. The orbs were darting around so quickly I could barely keep them in the cameras view, then they would stop and be totally still for minutes.

    Someone just told me this “If you DON’T want to see anything strange in the skies, absolutely Don’t look up at night….”
    I challenge you all, go out at night, lay on a blanket and silently watch.

    I think we both saw similar lights, pam, after seeing your video. I have a video of my lights taken with an iPhone, but they don’t show up as clear as your video above.

    Steven J , post them anyway…. the whole reason I “came out” about this is the same reason as the bf /gugwe thing encounter…..if WE are seeing things that don’t belong in our skies SPEAK UP EVERYONE.
    People already think we’re crazy, we said we saw a cryptid. Lol

      Hi Pam. Thanks for posting. I’m curious. Were you able to gauge the size of these things? I’ve heard people describe them from being tiny to about the size of a small plane. Whatever they are, it’s weird

    Does not look, at all, like lights my friends and I were exposed to. Maybe the video just does not do the phenomenon justice. I could have never filmed what we experienced back in the day. Even if I had a camera ready, I was so transfixed by the strangeness that there was no chance I could have filmed. Heard em called spites or forest lights and was warned never to follow them.

    You definently seem to be a magnet for these unknown phenomenon . Its amazing what you do to contribute to this site alone with all the different stuff your always posting . Btw , always enjoy the variety of stuff you put up (Thank you) . So your going above and beyond by having these very rare , real encounters . It’s really something else, looking very much forward to hearing the interview.. : )

    Can’t thank you all enough. I held back when asked to talk about it because I really did fear losing any credibility I had. I used to joke and say when others talk about UFOs I will never laugh at them since I saw that abomination of a thing in Arkansas, how could I be hypocritical and say they are misidentifying something. Well, there you go.

    …that’s a craft! I watched these several times and I think it’s a huge craft! There even looks like an alien gray inside a vestibule or the command center! That’s what I’m seeing.

    We have a hunting cabin and 80 acres of land adjoining miles of state forest land in northern MN. In 2003 my son ,nephew and I built several stands for bear hunting. We didn’t get a permit,that year. In March 2004 my son was killed in a car accident. The next couple of years, we couldn’t use his stand, it just didn’t feel right for my nephew or me. He did pick a great spot though, and finally in about 2008 we started using his stand again. In August that year we put up a bait station for bears, and a trail camera over it. Immediately I started getting pictures of bears coming in to the bait, and didn’t notice at first that every time a bear came in to camera range over the bait there was a bright orb we guessed at about the size of a basket ball that preceded it. We explained it to ourselfs as a sunspot at first, until we got the same in some pictures with the orb in the rain, and one day in September in the snow. It was always the same size even in different light and weather conditions and moving the camera angle. One day near the end of September a bear (we presume because for weeks bears never seemed to take any notice of the camera) the camera was bumped or pushed to a weird angle up into the tree tops. It still tripped daily, we guessed tripped by ravens feeding in the bait, but daily the orb still there. Finally the last day of September I got a really nice bear. The trail camera which I had reset just the day before recorded the whole hunt and taking of that bear. Usually I had 1or 2 pics a day with the orb yet, but that day I took the bear there was the orb in every frame just floating around, but after I moved into the camera radius the orb was over my shoulder in every pic the camera recorded. I kept the camera on the bait station the rest of the season, just because it was fun to still gat pics of bears, (the camera did get tipped once more, and I got a really interesting pic of the top of somethings head, it didn’t look like a bear so we guessed a moose hit it. Maybe . We never knew for sure.) but since I got the bear, we never saw the orb again. We had fun speculating about it. Later that fall we had a really bad wind storm, and strangely enough several trees blew over but only the trees my son had stands in blew over, totally ruining his two stands including the one I got the bear in. I never rebuilt his stand, but I put a metal 2 person stand a few yards away, for my grandsons and I and it’s always been the most productive stand we have. But we never saw the orb again.
