Missing 411 – The Movie

The popular book is about to be turned into a movie, and they have a trailer. It’s only been a couple of days, and already the Kickstarter campaign has gotten over $21,000 out of the $100,000 goal. Watch the trailer and check out their Kickstarer below:

Hey Wes, thank you so much for posting this. I appreciate it. You work incredibly hard and you take the time to read all our comments. Thanks for taking the time to read my comment. You keep giving me more more reasons everday to stay at Sasquatch Chronicles as a member. Mosts hosts in this subject make their shows more about them than the people who have these encounters or the members. But you selflessly always make the shows and all the content on SC all about the members. You’re doing all of this for us and I don’t have enough words to tell you how grateful I am. You’re just the total package and a phenomenal host

When I tell friends about this they look at me like I’m crazy. This needs to be in front of everyone. It’s almost as important as what Kim is wearing today.

There is a show called Caravan to Midnight (caravantomidnight.com) with John B. Wells as host. He has a big audience and a lot of his content is govt coverup/secrecy kind of thing. If enough people emailed him and asked him to have David Paulides on to promote the Kickstart page and the Missing 411 movie, he might do so. You can email him at johnb@caravantomidnight.com. It is a subscription-based show, but I believe Youtube has some of his content.

I hope many people with no interest in Sasquatch, vortexes, orbs or whatever else will watch, and I hope that it does not all get pinned on Sasquatch or any other one thing. Most of what we have about these cases can only raise speculation. Don’t go alone or even get out of each other’s sight, side by side not single file, gun, satellite phone, transponder, survival supplies, etc. It seems like overkill. “Oh, come on, it’s only a short hike. I think I can do it by myself.” “Joey, go back and get your hat. We’ll wait here.” “You guys go ahead. I just need to tie my shoe.” It only takes a moment of isolation and vulnerability, good or bad weather. People can just disappear when you look the other way and then back to where your kid, spouse or friend were standing literally a moment before and they’re gone. People hear about the cases from those interested and think it’s an exaggeration, and without names, faces, interviews, it’s what some guy says, and he is selling the books. I hope they interview the families otherwise it is not relatable, just impersonal accounts of facts. Everyone should know. Everyone should know about the shoddy accounting of missing, when they become labeled presumed dead and removed from the missing list. The numbers should be conspicuously piled up as an alarming testament to how easy one can become a statistic, and a list of gear and precautions to take so people can practice before they go instead of winging it when they get there, just as a family can practice a fire drill at home.

This is a real phenomena that needs to be told. I have high hopes that it will get done. If I were them I would push this to the Discovery Channels as well as there is just to much for a short movie and would be better suited to a continuing series.

Love it. The wheels are coming off of one of the biggest government cover-ups in history. David Paulides continues to follow the facts in search of truth regarding many who have vanished in our national parks. He has became the voice for those who can no longer speak for themselves. Each and every man, woman and child (including their loved ones) who have vanished or have been inexplicably killed deserve justice and answers. Furthermore, to add INSULT to injury, how about the message at national parks.org that touts their “Every Kid in a Park” initiative??? Their loving act is to “provide an opportunity for each and every 4th grade student across the country to experience their public lands and waters in person throughout the 2015-2016 school year.” More good news from the government who has our best interests at heart: the pass “…will give you free access to national parks, national forests, national wildlife refuses, and more!” Come on down and take a roll at the roulette wheel of life! See if you, too, may or may not vanish because you think YOU, armed with bear spray and a rifle, are at the top of the food chain in the forest!

Oh, I love the longer trailer. This is going to be excellent. The most important factor is getting it distributed and marketed so people know about it, watch it together and discuss it. Even then, most people watch scripted fictional feature length motion pictures rather than documentaries. I want to see David, Les and whoever else involved interviewed by everyone in mainstream television about this film and the subject. And to see the trailer in commercial breaks and this documentary reviewed favorably would be awesome. It’s not real for people until they see it on television.

I’m so delighted that Dave has finally gone to using, “kickstart”….I’ve donated and will do some again…this information is so vital for anyone and everyone to be aware of….

A movie is great, but I sure would like it to hit the small screen as well…the more places it’s shown, the better.

Thanks to Dave Paulides for taking on this massive project…and thank YOU, Wes, for posting it to Sas Chron!

This is good news for all of us who have read these books by Dave. Wes, can Dave come on your show to promote this documentary, hopefully many donors can come forward and help get this movie out. I can’t imagine the pain and grief so many have had to endure because of what’s going on in our national parks and forests. Thanks so much to Dave for all he has done to bring attention to this subject

I’m half way through the books, I think this is great and hope it’s successful, I will certainly be backing this, it’s time that the American people demand answers, I’m sure any shortfall in funds will be picked up by some of the more known backers on the clip but it’s doing well over 40K now.
I hope people also look on the canam website and back the petition dp is promoting.
