The linked video claims that it was taken in the Lewis River region in Washington state in 1983. The video only refers to him once as “John”, and says that he tried sharing it several times over the years but it got ignored so he gave up. I did an exact search for an alleged quote from the photographer “capturing definitive proof of the creature felt like an incredible achievement” (this sounds made up to me) but turned up no results. Honestly, the video (and the channel that posted it) is trash, and I can’t find any other references to it, so the most likely scenario is that it’s a fake. It is very compelling though, and seems to match many of the witness descriptions in the podcast. I hope that someone more plugged into the community might know more about its origins in case it wasn’t just created by an AI generator to farm youtube views. I also posted it on the r/bigfoot subreddit, but it just got a lot of low-effort comments from drive-by jackasses (which is to be expected).

This is the youtube video I took it from. Don’t expect anything useful there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxGhv9JOg5w
