ParticipantThey lost me pretty early. The elders said something to the effect of don’t go past the tree line. Of course, they needed firewood and ignored the pretty sizable
Amount of driftwood on the beach and you guessed it….! Very scripted but good for entertainment purposes.November 29, 2021 at 10:47 am #200508Terran S
ParticipantDebbie S, Thank you! Have a wonderful, blessed holiday, too!

ParticipantWell said, Knobby. One son who has not had shots, has nothing to do with politics. One son who is fully vaccinated….nothing to do with politics. They’ve done their homework and come to different conclusions. Much respect to both. That’s what it’s all about in my book.

ParticipantNot blind to much. Seen it all. Lies and more damned lies have been around since the beginning of time. Government was never a particular friend of mine. Many nurses have filed a religious exemption for mandatory shots, good for them! You follow your beliefs and I will follow mine. Still will show up to work, give the best care possible wether you are a drug addiction, racist or jerk, had your shots or didn’t. Nurses are like everybody else, divided.

ParticipantMerry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all. Regardless of political affiliations, beliefs or whatever else you want to throw in there. Family is where it’s at and I am so looking forward to hugging my sons. They’ve been warned I may never let them go! My son bagged an elk a couple of weeks ago, that is what we will feast on. So thankful for all I have….beyond words.

ParticipantGot my booster shot this week. Not a problem to me if others don’t get the shot. In the Middle Ages, bubonic plague was seen as the wrath of God. Now, it is the wrath of the government. Formerly in the nursing field, my sister still is. Seen a lot of death over the past year from Covid.
Bleeding heart liberal here. One who doesn’t believe I know best for you
or anyone else. This country/world is so divided now, we would argue over which way the toilet roll should be on…front or back. Both sides with their name calling, judgements sicken me.

ParticipantWishing everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving!
I have so much to be thankful for. Will have made my move to MT by December, close to my sons and small grand-daughter. It’s been a tumultuous four years.
I pray for good things for all who struggle during this time of year,
keep going forward, never straight!November 19, 2021 at 5:53 pm #199833Terran S
ParticipantShe is on B&B’s ‘A Terrifying Night In The Marble Mountains.’ She is a forestry professional.

ParticipantThat is what I thought. She is also featured on B&B. I will look for that one and post.

ParticipantI believe this was an episode
featured on Bigfoot and Beyond with
Cliff and James Fay…..if memory
serves me. Perhaps in the Marble mountains? Excellent account. Wes may have had her on an earlier episode, I’m not sure.October 16, 2021 at 7:57 am #196990Terran S
ParticipantSomething I have often pondered is the description of gut piles and other soft tissue disappearing. Carnivores generally have sharp incisors for ripping and tearing flesh. Often Sasquatches dentition is described as large block-like teeth. How much of the carcass is easier to eat for them? I am thinking they are omnivores essentially, hunter gatherer. As always, so many questions, so few answers!

ParticipantJohn B, sorry you had to deal with this when you’ve already got enough on your plate. Hoping SC and whatever works for you does the trick!

ParticipantDanny D., sorry about your mom. It’s so hard to lose someone who was a big part of your life. I went back and listened to that episode last night. I think it’s one of the best. He did a great job of describing the event as well as the emotions churning through him at that point in his life.
