									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>What I mean by ringed is like something wrapped it’s hands around the tree and with a be try  tight grip started working it’s wrist back and forth until the bark separated from the tree. Basically like giving the tree an Indian burn lol.  That’s the only way I can see it being done with out any type of claw marks or bite marks. <p>I have a question. My brother lives in the woods in deep Graham WA. We recently found a group of trees with the bark stripped about 5 feet down. The trees are about 5-6 inches wide. I can’t find anything on any animals here in the NW that would do this besides a porcupine but those are pretty rare.
