How Bigfoot Made A Whole Town Disappear

Alaskan Killer Bigfoot writes “An expedition sets off for the abandoned town of Portlock to reclaim it from the mysterious forces that led to the deaths of dozens. Seventy years ago, a murderous Bigfoot-like creature sent residents fleeing from Portlock, Alaska. Now, an expedition returns to the abandoned fishing village to reclaim the land and its resources from the terrifying beast locals call Nantinaq.”

Good story line and pretty exciting and scary if you ask me. I liked watching it, but then I watched every episode of Finding Bigfoot and every rerun for years too.

The history of Portlock is one of the most intriguing stories. There are some compelling accounts of something quite terrifying.

And then along comes this group of self righteous descendants whose main objective seems to be proving what the narrator said about the town having nothing for the youths growing up. These are the dimwitted products of these lost outposts, flaunting their collective IQ that’s hovering around room temperature. Reclaiming and repopulating a dilapidated and dead town so they can flee their current state of despair and decay? Perfect! Let’s just continue the cycle of deferred maintenance and lack of foresight for generations to come. Hopefully someone comes to their senses and suggests that the four musketeers focus on their own home and community. That might make for a believable documentary: How we saved our community from economic and cultural isolation.
At least I got to see what Portlock looks like after all these years. Sudden abandonment has left it in a peculiar state.
