Bigfoot Daze 2023 writes “Started by a small group of locals, over 60 years ago, to celebrate the logging industry, the festival has become an exceptional fund-raising opportunity for local non-profits, a wonderful showcase for local businesses, artists and vendors plus a great reason for visitors so come to our spectacularly, scenic community.
It is one of the oldest local festivals in Humboldt County.
Humboldt’s hairy hominid returns for a festive homecoming to the town where his legend began. Bigfoot Daze 2023 will be held on Saturday, July 8th!

This family-friendly community event is fun for all ages. From the ever popular Themed Parade to the traditional Logging Contests, this event is not to be missed.
Historically, the festival has been held on the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend. However, during recent forest fires, the park has been used for fire camps. So, join us on Saturday, July 8th 2023 for a fun-filled event.
Saturday Morning starts with a downtown parade at 10am where businesses, non-profits and community members show off lots of style and creative talent. The parade takes place downtown and the main festival is at Veterans Park, located at 100 Kimtu Rd. en-route to Kimtu Beach in Willow Creek, CA.”
